Going to Japan
After moving to Japan in 2023 and staying for almost two years, many of the ideas I had of what Japan would be like were turned upside down. My goal with the song was to capture a sense of naive optimism that many foreigners arrive with, and how it often turns into something else.
With the help of producer Magnus Bechmann Hansen and my good friend Dōgen, we made it happen.
